Travel | My Trip to Paris Part 3

I have such a huge love for Paris, Its embedded in me now I think..
Today is our last day and as much as I miss home when I'm away and I always a tiny bit look forward to heading back, This has felt like a home away from home, We've been so content here.

After getting stuck inside a lift we left the hotel and jumped on the open top tour bus again today, Its such a cheap way to get around and you can jump of at any time, It works out even cheaper to buy a ticket for two days anyway, So you get to see the beautiful city in the sunshine. We did a similar route to yesterday, Notre Dame, The Louvre Etc.
The first place we stopped off wasn't to far from The Louvre but we was on the hunt for Angelina's its a world famous patisserie it looked so picturesque I had to see it in person...After getting a little lost and asking a few locals we eventually found it and they have the most amazing cakes! Its beautiful!

Walking out with some giant macaroons in hand we headed to Champs Elysees which I was pretty excited about. Champs Elysees is immaculate it doesn't even feel like a shopping district at all its too pretty! They had a huge Sephora which I was happy about and picked up a bagful of beauty products, the highlight though was seeing Arc de Triomphe which is honestly stunning and it actually turned out to be my favourite monument its so beautiful - in real life especially.

We had our last little walk along the River Seine before we headed home and even got our portrait drawn which was pretty cool!
I will always remember this trip and I cannot wait till I come back Paris. This city is amazing maybe next time we will visit Disneyland Paris too! Have you ever been to Paris? Did you enjoy it as much as I have?

Travel | My Trip to Paris Part 2

Today was amazing, waking up on my actual birthday in paris is an absolute dream, We didn't exactly plan anything, we ordered room service and then headed out to explore we pretty much travelled all day on one of the open top tour buses, We got to see Notre Dame, The Louvre, the love lock bridge and lots of other gorgeous places.

On our way back we went for a walk along the river seine and decided to go for dinner on one of the boats, we luckily got seats at the front window which meant we had the most beautiful unobstructed views of paris while sailing down the river and got to see the places we see earlier on in the day from a different less busy view.

For starters we had duck foie gras with sourdough bread

For main we had beef cooked rare served with shallots and some sautéed potatoes.

and although I'm not a dessert person this course was my favourite! I had strawberry and rhubarb tart and my boyfriend had pistachio, nougat and morello cherry ice cream cheesecake and his was honestly amazing I had most of it to be honest!

After we left the boat there was a cute old french lady selling roses so my boyfriend bought a red rose and a white rose for me in paris - sounds so cute doesn't it!

we headed back to our hotel and after my boyfriend disappeared for 5 minutes 'to get some snacks' he came up to the hotel room with a mini bottle of champagne which I was super excited about! once the champagne was finished we decided to head out to visit the Eiffel Tower at night it was about midnight and we couldn't have timed it better as we walked up to the Eiffel Tower all lit up and looking beautiful the light show then started and I've seen it in pictures and videos but it is so pretty, it look like the Eiffel Tower is sparkling to elegantly, We laid down on the grass and watched the Eiffel Tower and I can honestly say its been one of the magical birthdays ever.

I really have fallen in love with paris, Its been amazing and I'm gutted tomorrow is my last day.

Travel | My Trip to Paris Part 1

Paris has always been on my bucket list. It was the one place I wanted to visit, I had heard mixed reviews about the city some people (most people) love it, others had different opinions but like anywhere I wanted to find out for myself and to be honest I had extremely high expectations of this
city.

The main landmark is the Eiffel Tower which even before I got to visit I just loved the look of it, in pictures or any ornament that resembles the Eiffel tower, I love.
I have so many accessories in my home dedicated to this city so I think it was pretty clear I needed to see it for myself.
My boyfriend then surprised me with tickets to go to Paris and I honestly cannot thank him enough for it. I will forever be grateful that he made that dream come true for me and I really want to share my experience here on my blog.

Its the first day, It is honestly the most beautiful place I've ever visited in all my life, We got a taxi from Charles de Gaulle airport to 'Tour Eiffel' which just sounded strange to even say, I was so smiley and giggly I was acting like a child! It was quite a long drive which I didn't mind to be honest I was just getting excited to see the Eiffel tower and it seems like you can't see it for ages then all of a sudden it just appears and it is such a huge landmark for some reason I never thought it would be as big as it is.

Once we got out and had to take our first snaps of the Eiffel tower we then walked five minutes down the road to our beautiful hotel! Its in the most amazing location overlooking the river and if another hotel wasn't in front you would be able to see the Eiffel tower in front of our window, You can see it a bit but you could probably touch it if that other hotel wasn't there! Its still amazing and were on the 27th floor! It is so peaceful and the room and hotel is gorgeous! We spent today just exploring  finding our feet a little bit we grabbed a hotdog and sat right underneath the Eiffel Tower like a little picnic it was amazing!
I can't wait to explore the rest of Paris and tomorrow is my birthday so I will be waking up in Paris?! What the hell!
