Beauty | Monthly Favourites - January

I've decided to do a monthly favourites series and do a roundup once a month of all the things I've been loving. So here's the roundup for January!

Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water
I have used the normal micellar water from Garnier for a while now, Its affordable and does exactly what you need it to and you get a lot of product for the price which is always good. I didn't really think of trying the oil one for some reason but I thought I'd give it a go because my skin can get super dry and I'm so glad I picked it up, its super cheap it smells AMAZING! I love it and its not too greasy either I feel like I have soft skin after this which I never got from the normal micellar water.

Origins GinZing Energy Boosting Moisturiser
I'm obsessed with the smell of this, It smells super citrusy like orange zest, I didn't even know I liked orange scents but its such a nice smell in the morning it smells and feels zingy like it says, I use this every morning and its been a life saviour with my super dry skin lately.

MAC Lipstick in shade 'Faux'
I love the shade of this lipstick, Its been suer sunny recently - still cold but super sunny and I feel like this is such a gorgeous muted pinky nude with slightly mauve undertones its so much better than the really brown nudes I keep seeing, Its much more girly and is the perfect 'your lips but better' shade.

BareMinerals Lash Domination Mascara & Lash Domination Petite Mascara
I looooove this mascara so much! Its one of my favourites, Definitely a Hoy Grail product and this christmas my mum bought me the little gift set which includes the lash domination mascara but also has a petite version inside, I was excited because I thought it was travel size one but the brush is actually super petite and perfect for your lower lashes and its one that doesn't transfer which I've struggled to find, I also use this for when I'm going out as a first coat and then use the normal sized mascara on top of the petite one to make my eyelashes super fluttery.

Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream
I actually got this in the LookFantastic beauty advent calendar but I am obsessed with it and will definitely purchase. I use it every morning and night and its all natural ingredients and its super hydrating for under my eyes.

Becca Highlighter in 'Pearl'
This is incredible! I recently went to london so nipped into Space NK to see what this highlighter was like as I've seen it online a lot. Its beautiful its super shimmery but it doesn't leave a line it looks as if its invisible shimmer does that even make sense? I love it so much its gorgeous.

YSL Touche Eclat Foundation
This is my all time favourite foundation ever! and I'm so so happy with it, Foundation for me is the hardest make up product to find which I love and want to use again and again I feel like they say theyre going to do a million things but often let me down, I didn't have high hopes for this because I'm not a lover of the touch éclat concealer, Its not enough coverage for me to be honest but this foundation is the perfect coverage and easily buildable, It lasts for so long and isn't really mattifying either it makes you look so healthy its my favourite make up product I've bought I think.

Lush Cosmetics Tea Tree Water
I've mentioned this before but its still a firm favourite of mine it literally cleanse you face so its pristine and gets rid of any bacteria or blemishes, Its perfect if your having a bad skin day.

Those are my favourite products that I've been using this month I think the YSL foundation and the becca highlighter were my favourite buys, The BareMinerals mascara is my favourite product in general I think Do you have any favourite products?

  1. This is a great post, I love your monthly round up. I also enjoy the lush tree tea so much! It's life! Hehe lush products are the best love Leigh |

    1. Its amazing isn't it! I do love lush too! haha Xo

  2. I've recently started using a coconut oil and lemon essential oil scrub for my face and have realized the benefits of using products with oil as well. At first I thought they would just make me break out, because it's oil, but it actually make it so soft and clean :) Maybe when I run out of what I'm using I will try that micellar water. Thanks for sharing!
