Beauty | Monthly Favourites - May

These months are flying pass! How are we going into the halfway mark? Its crazy! The weather has been pretty good lately so the that always seems to alters my beauty routine, Here are my current favourites I've been obsessed with this month.

Oh my god this is something that I know I'm going to stick to using. I exfoliate all the time due to my dry skin and I regularly fake tan so for a patch free tan exfoliation is so important, I've tried all kinds of exfoliating scrubs and theres only a couple that have actually hydrated my skin afterwards, This coconut and cranberry scrub is amazing, Its all natural which makes it amazing anyway - and it smells amazing! Super fruity and summery and it is surprising super hydrating for a scrub I'll continue to re stock on this scrub.

First of all I have raved about these too faced lipsticks for ages now! They last through everything whether I'm melting in this heat, drinking or eating it doesn't budge a single bit and it doesn't dry my lips out at all. I wasn't too sure about this shade at first but with fake tan it looks amazing So, I've pretty much worn it everyday this month.

This stuff is amazing for you fellow bloggers! and for those who don't blog. I looooove this stuff, especially on my legs its perfect for when you want to take outfit pictures! it gives your legs such a beautiful shine and has a tiny bit of bronze too so your legs look glowy and sun kissed - and slimmer!

This is the only powder I've found that really sets my makeup in this heat, I love it under my eyes too, I usually use a separate powder for this but I love how the Loreal powder evens my skin tone and brightens my eyes as its quite toned I have the shade golden ivory and I still use this under my eyes when I fake tan and I'm a darker shade its great for brightening under the eyes.

Now, I know makeup wipes have a bad rep but hear me out...I ran out of my usual Micellar Lotion recently and I always have a back up of wipes, even if I don't use them on my face I tear them in half and use them to remove my eye makeup, I used these for a week and my skin seemed to clear up and this is the only thing I had changed in my routine? They don't dry my skin out and I've even be using them on my face on these hot days we've been having too.

I've used this for about 3 years now, I use it before makeup application and before I go to bed in my night routine and when I'm having a no makeup day on a hot day this is the perfect way to soothe and refresh my eyes. It comes in a little chubby stick thats super easy to glide on, Its super moisturising and revives tired looking eyes and I've been pretty loyal to this product but I definitely reach for it more in the warmer months.

I love this brand so much, When it comes to drugstore makeup Bourjois and L'Oreal are definitely two of my faves. This is another product I've been loyal to this product aswell the first time I purchased tis was 10 years ago!! I was 13 and I remember seeing the packaging and finding out it smelt of chocolate and I didn't even care if it was good I just needed it but ever since then when summer rolls around I always go back to it Its a gorgeous sun kissed colour with a slight shimmer.

I can't believe how quick this month has gone! Let me know if you've tried any of these products and don't forget you can follow me on Bloglovin or any of my social media pages by clicking on any of the icons in the top left corner of the page.

Lifestyle | 25 Travel/Life Things On My Bucket List!

When was the last time you didn't something huge and exciting? Something you had waited years to do? Things that added value to your life and that you craved? We get so wrapped up in our day to day lives we forget to do the things that we actually want.

Writing a list of things to do before you die sounds morbid so we tend to limit things to things to do before we hit a milestone like hitting 25 years old or 30 but we can't constantly tick off daily life to-do's without doing things that scare us a little, with that in mind - apparently you should do something that scares you daily, not in a harmful scary way but in the sense that you should do something that you never thought you could do or accomplish. The only thing that's holding you back from your goals - is you. If we never make goals we won't push ourselves so just bear that in mind

Also, Don't forget to check off everything you do accomplish, It will keep you motivated and you'll want to cross off more the more you achieve. Check on it regularly and go over the things that aren't relevant to you anymore and maybe switch or change it up as often as you like, Lets face it your not going to run out of things to do and they can be as big or small as you like.

I'm a huge list maker so I'll find any excuse to make a list! Here's 50 things from my bucket list, I have things from my childhood right up to now and you can see what I've crossed off too!

Beauty | Look Fantastic Beauty Box - May

You probably know by now that I get the Look Fantastic beauty box every month, Its £13 pound if you subscribe for 12 months (which is what I did) just click the [here] if you want to have a look. This months box was a beautiful pink one which I was pretty happy about. The theme this month was 'Get the Glow' Perfect for the summer season.

I don't know if I've mentioned this before but with every box you get that months issue of Elle magazine and a little beauty box short magazine also, which just explains whats in the box and other beauty tips and products that fit in with the theme of this months box.

I've seen so many body scrubs around and I really like the idea of it, I love exfoliating my face I know that's weird but I love the feel afterwards. The fact this is for my entire body makes me super happy, if your an avid fake tanner like me you'll understand that exfoliation is the key to a smooth home tan! The fact its all natural with amazing ingredients makes me want to re purchase for sure.

This hair oil is amazing! It's enriched with with a blend of oils that nourish and condition the hair. It smells bloody amazing and I've recently amped up my hair care routine because I've had hair extensions for so long I didn't really bother with my own but I'm getting a proper chop this month so i really want to get as much hair care as I can - This one is amazing!

In the box you could either get the shade 'Peach' or 'Cream' I love the idea of the peach shade but I'm so happy with the cream shade its so glowy and shimmery which will look amazing in the summer when you don't want to go all over the top with your eye shadows this will be perfect.

This little cloth is made from hypoallergenic fibres, It gently removes make up - even eye make up with just water leaving your skin super clean and glowy, Its like magic!

At first I though this was a peel mask but its not..Basically, you put it on your face and rub it round in circular movements with your fingers like a cleanser and the peel solidifies under your fingers because of the blend of proteins and removes dead skin cells so you get left with a refreshed renewed complexion I think its such a cool product!

I think this product sounds so cool, I always wear fake tan throughout summer this mist hydrates and nourishes the skin while leaving a hint of bronze for a gorgeous glowy sun kissed finish!

That was this months beauty box - I loved it. I'm already buzzing for next months!

Food | My Top 5 Favourite Restaurants, London - Paris - Amsterdam!

If you know me, you know I love my food. I used to be quite a fussy eater but now I try almost anything and to be honest my palette has changed a lot in the last few years. Food is obviously important in the sense that it gives us energy we need it to survive but not only that it brings us together when you share food or even just a table with someone it creates that little bond whether its on a first date, or a Sunday carvery with the family, pub grub with your mates or even meetings with new clients, food is one of the best ways to get everybody to leave their phones in their pockets after you get that instgram shot of course! and just have a good laugh and a catch up.
As much as I love cooking at home and making everything look cute, I really love going to restaurants wether it be a chain like Nando's, A dessert place like Creams or a posh steak house like Angus Steak House I just love visiting restaurants. I don't have a specific type but I do love little quirky places and anywhere with real nice produce that's cooked well - oh and good service obviously!
I've been lucky enough to go to restaurants since I was a kid, I remember one particular restaurant on my 8th birthday it was an italian place along the river and I loved it the food, the feel I just enjoyed feeling like a grown up and I think thats where my love of restaurant begun its one of my first memories going to a 'proper restaurant'  So, I thought I'd share with you some of my favourite places I've eaten in the last few years...

My ultimate favourite restaurant in the UK definitely is Bourgee, its a steak and lobster restaurant and it is amazing! The one I go to is in Southend, Essex and I went there for an anniversary and it hadn't been open too long but now they have one in Chelmsford and Bury St Edmunds. As soon as we ate we knew instantly we'd come back and we have done every anniversary like tradition and obviously for date nights too, Not only do they do the most incredible steak - and I mean it the knife slices through like butter and it melts in your mouth and the lobster is incredibly fresh and tastes amazing, they also do afternoon tea on a cute little lawn with an amazing spread of lobster bagels, steak and caramelised onion brioche, sausage rolls, mini doughnuts with cinnamon, crisp coated fruit skewers with dip, cake then your choice of warm drink or prosecco! how amazing is that? It tastes incredible and it feels like such a cute little treat and its only £15 - perfect for day dates!

The best Eggs Benedict I've ever eaten in all my life was in this place Koepel Cafe! Honestly, Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale are my favourite thing to get/make for breakfast and I have had it in a lot of different restaurants, one thing I don't like is hollandaise sauce, its too rich and overpowering for me however, The way Koepel Cafe made it was amazing! maybe because it is the dutch sauce they clearly know what they're doing. I tried a bit of my boyfriends then we ended up switching one so we both had one with hollandaise and one without, I've tried it since being in Amsterdam thinking maybe I do like it and I can't find anywhere that I actually enjoy it soooooo If if go back to Amsterdam I'm making a beeline for this place! The Cafe itself was super cute on a really relaxed corner of the road just around the corner from the city centre.

I couldn't really list of favourite places that I've eaten in without mentioning Marina de Paris. You cannot beat a restaurant that glides down the River Seine while your tucking into great food and wine, you just can't. I've been on river cruises before and it usually has the option to eat or to just enjoy the views. This is a full on restaurant - amazing! At night you have to dress smart - no shorts etc allowed, Daytime however is more smart/casual which I'm pretty sure is everyones favourite dress code? The food here is amazing, cooked really well and served amazingly their desserts are the best thing on the menu by far and I am a savoury girl 98% of the time! So, when somewhere does a good dessert its got to be amazing if I rave about it because desserts just aren't my fave. Along with the food you obviously get the most stunning view which is why its in my favourites. I'm a sucker for food with a view especially when your sailing past, Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower.

This restaurant isn't just in London, they're scattered all over the world. Its inspired by Forrest Gump which is an absolute classic film, It has memorabilia all over the place and has cute quotes from the film. You get a little ping pong paddle and flip it green if you need serving and red if you want a little privacy which I think is a really cool idea, there's nothing worse than a waiter/waitress coming over asking how your food is when your eating a mouthful haha! They have amazing cocktails which they give you the receipt and underneath the restaurant is a gift shop and you get the glasses your cocktails came in for free so you get to take something home with you. The food is amazing its not just a quirky restaurant with really cool vibes the food is incredible its cooked amazing and they have so much variety, We had huge burgers and had to try the hush puppies they were so tasty!

This place is sooooooo bloody amazing. It has the prettiest view of St Paul's Cathedral, The service is amazing, the staff were so attentive and polite and really welcoming, the atmosphere is really peaceful without it being quiet and awkward and the menu and food was incredible. I had steak and it was amazing that gorgeous barbecued flavour and steak that just melts in your mouth! They had incredible pork crackling straws too with an apple sauce, and the best tempura calamari!! It was gorgeous.
