Lifestyle | What I'm doing to stay organised in the new year

Hello! It is a Monday, It's the 1st day of the 1st month and its a brand new year! How refreshing?!
I am really trying my best to start making some changes. I'm not one usually for new years resolutions to be honest. I kind of try and start goals as soon as I need to BUT this year after a very up and down year I really want to set some personal goals for myself.
The first thing that is going to help me stick to my goals is my Happiness Planner, I know that if I'm keeping track of my goals and my improvements I'm more likely to stay on the right path and keep them going instead of just prioritising other things.
The happiness planner is obviously very pretty to look at but I have found it really practical too, on the first few pages you fill in questions like 'What makes you happy' in which you list all things that make you happy and how it makes you happy on a scale of 1-10 and how often you should do these things, it also has 6 negative and 6 positive traits and you circle which ones you have and you can simply work better on your negative traits (everybody has them) and really embrace your positive ones and I find this so helpful.

It has all kinds of other helpful things for example: what/who you are grateful for, where you see yourself in the future from 5-10 years, fears, dreams it literally has everything, some things I hadn't even thought about.
I use this planner mainly to help with my anxiety, you simply fill it out everyday (depending what planner you choose) and then at the end of the month you reflect on that year and how you feel then plan for the next month. Its perfect to keep a clear plan of what you want to achieve and it definitely helps you get it. Also, If you only start off with a few goals they are more manageable so you can just keep adding more, rather than overwhelm yourself and then go off track.

My 2 main goals for 2018

I find it best to start off with a couple of small achievable goals that I can add to once I've reached them, rather than overwhelm myself with lots of goals or unachievable ones.

Blogging - I want to really commit to my blog this year, I have enjoyed it this past year immensely and I want to post and update more frequently and really up my game some more. I also want to attend more events when I can, I see so many people fret because they live so far from London so I'm in the perfect location to attend events and I shouldn't let my anxiety affect that. I did actually attend one in London this year, I was a total mess the night before but I did it and I am so glad I did!

Fitness - I used to smash the gym then I did that thing where, things happen and you don't prioritise your body so much (well I didn't) and it really affects how I feel more than how I look, fitness for me is more of a stress reliever and used to help me so much with my anxiety, so hopefully I will really make a lifestyle change and welcome it into my routine.

These are the 2 main things I want to get better with because I think they will benefit me in the long run. They are the two things that help with my mind so hopefully doing more will help my anxiety too.
I've been really enjoying chilling in bed filling out my happiness planner lately and I'm excited for it to really keep me on track with everything, How do you stay on track with your plans? I feel so much better when I'm organised!
