It’s easy to see by this website that I am a huge lover of anything beauty related whether it’s skincare, beauty products or crystals (for there ultimate beauty). I have found the most amazing tools that I have incorporated into my skincare routine that are right up my street!
By the photos, you can see the fully fledged love I have for the crystal, Rose Quartz. It was the first ever Crystal I received off of my late nan and it has always been a firm favourite of mine along with the Mangano Calcite. Anyway Rose Quartz makes me feel at ease, it calms me down and I just love it. I then stumbled across these facial tools made from Rose Quartz, I have already heard of the Jade facial rollers which a few of my friends swear by and I was originally looking for that and then I stumbled across an Instagram page which was, of course, Paulo Lai a fully qualified reflexologist, he works with crystals too and has done for over a decade, he created the Aura Spray Moon Mist which I thought sounded amazing, I read a blog post by TV and Radio Presenter Lisa Snowdon all about Paulos Moon Mist which I then needed to know more about, I sent him a message and he was so helpful and didn’t mind me asking him so many questions and I checked out his website and that’s where I found the Rose Quartz smoothing tools.
The first one is the smoothing facial tool, Paulo recommended to use this along with Frankincense Oil by Neals Yard Remedies which I have now ordered but while I’m waiting for that to arrive I have been using The Body Shop Night Serum instead and it has worked a treat, anything really moisturising will help it from pulling on the skin (although its super smooth so it won’t pull on the skin it just makes it a lot more pleasant) This makes my skin feel so amazing and it has become my favourite part of my skincare routine, I spray it with the Moon Mist before and after using it and I completely zen out, if you know me you know how I cannot relax very easily and I seem to struggle relaxing more so in the evenings but this routine I genuinely look forward to doing, especially at night-time and it really zens me out and makes it feel like I’ve had such a pamper!
The second tool is the eye reflexology stick, I ordered this after I ordered the facial tool and Paulo kindly sent me a Rose Quartz Palm Stone which honestly made my day, I was so happy! I was a little apprehensive of using the eye tool yet because my eczema around my eyes is quite bad but I do rinse it after every use and to be honest I’m just impatient! I’m so glad I was because this has helped soothe it so so much! I haven’t itched it at all since I’ve been using this tool and my eyes feel so much better, I put a tiny bit of La Roche-Posay intense eye cream on my eyes and slowly rub around my eyes in a circular motion/figure of eight (Paulo also sends little cards with instructions on how to use the tools which are really helpful) I have to say the eye stick is my favourite because honestly, a couple of weeks ago I was in tears and had swollen eyelids and this couldn’t have come at a better time for me, it also helps me relax so I have found the perfect nighttime ritual and they’re made of rose quartz so obviously I have an extra big soft spot for these products.
I will touch on the amazing Moon Mist while we are talking about Paulo’s products, I love crystals so this was a given that I needed this but basically this Aura Spray is made with pure crystal water and bathed in full moonlight, enriched with essential oils such as Palo Santo, sage, rose, geranium, patchouli and Himalayan rock salt. The crystals used are Clear Quartz, Smokey Quartz, Rose Quartz and other crystals relating to the specific moon time and time of year. This just sounded magical to me and it makes me feel better knowing what was going inside it and on his website, I think he explains what each ingredient does on his website in case you don’t know what they do or if you would like to know more. I use this to spray around my bed, on myself and just around any area or crystals that I think need it. I’m going to do a little nighttime routine soon if you would like to read that, it features this product quite heavily so I will save some bits for that post!
These have seamlessly found a way in my skincare routine and I cannot wait to purchase more, I think I will opt for the Jade roller next, which I was actually looking for in the first place! I know the Jade roller is quite popular.
