So if you’ve read my previous posts you’ll notice that I have been practically in tears over my skin lately hence the radio silence in Feb (I’m not very photogenic right now). I did what most people do and I google and youtubed my way through diagnosis but I was watching some of ‘Its Sabrinas’ vlogs and I came across her skin video and she mentioned a brand called La Roche-Posay which she said was the only cream that didn’t make her skin reaction sore, so I decided to try the eye cream for my eczema I’ve already had cream to help my eyes but they were so so dry almost like leather so I really needed something to keep it hydrated without irritating it.
I’d never actually heard about this brand before, They have a couple of different eye creams to choose from but I opted for the ultra-hydrating cream which promises to relieve irritated eyes immediately – which it did, Hence the review. I have honestly spent a fortune on eye creams but I only review and mention the ones on my blog that I would genuinely recommend to my mum and sisters, so I am saving you the agro of 40-pound eye creams (I know, you’d be surprised) and find the best ones to use! This cream is around £11 from boots, it doesn’t oxidise or dry up, it has no parabens or anything in it and it is so so soothing. Even if you don’t have dry irritated eyes I would still recommend it for a really hydrating eye cream.
After trying out the eye cream, I then decided to completely change up my skincare routine. I put all of my faith into this brand and maybe it will pay off? They have a Toleriane range which specialises in helping sensitive, reactive skin. The first thing I decided to get from this range is the 3 step routine kit which consists of a cleanser, toner and moisturiser. The cleanser and toner leave my skin soothed and refreshes and the moisturiser locks in all that hydration and the more you use these products day by day your skin should become less reactive and less sensitive. I also grabbed a tube of the rich moisturiser which I’ve been using all over my body once I get out of the bath to leave my skin super soothed and less irritated in this awful cold weather, for the summer months I want to try their tinted moisturiser and suncare too.
The beginning of this year is just trying to find a skincare regime which works for me and this brand is really working right now. I feel like it actually works with my skin instead of trying to mask multiple problems it’s actually improving and helping them.
