We can all spot the iconic MAC logo a mile away, can’t we? When they change up the iconic black packaging to limited editions I can’t help but want everything!
The Electric Wonder collection really caught my eye. I am a sucker for any pink packaging anyway but with this gorgeous marble gold effect, I just fell in LOVE. The collection itself is very much my makeup aesthetic, lots of neutrals and very glowy, perfect for the warmer months. I only got a couple of things from the collection, my two favourite things actually – highlighter and lipstick.
So lets talk about this highlight palette, it is SO GORGEOUS, it has 6 beautiful highlighting shades left – right Wonder Who?, Girl Wonder, Some Kind of Wonderful, Seven Wonders, Any Wonder, Wonder Years the highlighter itself is a gorgeous must say the palette itself is amazing I now take it everywhere with me, the mirror takes up the entire lid so it is perfect for touching up makeup or just to act as a pretty big compact mirror.
Wonder Who?: It’s a super subtle barely there soft champagne shade, which makes it perfect for the inner eyelids to add a pop of brightness, and really open the eyes and make them look fresh without caking it up.
Some Kind of Wonderful: This shade is my favourite, a beautiful champagne gold, the highlighter shade I would typically go for. This looks so pretty as a nose highlight!
Any Wonder: This is your gorgeous basic but never basic bronze, this looks incredible on dark skin and equally as gorgeous on lighter skin for that beachy bronzed look!
Girl Wonder: is a slightly pinkier version than wonder who? I love the peachy pink hue that it has and I like to put this on the tops of my cheekbones when I’m not wearing much makeup and just wearing a light BB cream, it makes me look healthy and dewy.
Seven Wonders: This is a beautiful Rose Gold shade, this looks so striking on any skin tone it is really pigmented it’s definitely a shade that Kim KW would be envious of, this shade would look like a gorgeous recreation of the wet look she wore at this years MET Gala.
Wonder Years: A beaauutiful warm berry pink. This shade I was more sceptical about I wasn’t sure how it would work as a highlighter but I actually found that this looks gorgeous swept across the apples of your cheeks and used as a blush shade. It gives off a gorgeous rosy hue to the cheeks while highlighting it as well so you add a bit of colour whilst looking extra dewy.
I purchased the shade ‘The Naturalist’ I won’t lie I am a lipstick fanatic I have a drawer full of my favourite lipsticks! I have more nudes than I’d like to admit but the majority are matte finishes. When I saw this lipstick I instantly needed it, it’s a beautiful warm peachy nude which is my ideal nude, and its a more satin finish which makes my lips look so healthy and looks gorgeous over my darker matte nudes as a little satin finish ombre.
